We are glad to introduce ourselves, Madras Lights Theatre Group, as the only theatre group that is venturing into commercialenglish and tamil stage plays.

A few years ago, Chennai saw a new theatre awakening where a lot of people from diverse backgrounds queuing up for theatre performances due to lack of quality entertainment.

We have stepped in to capitalise on this. Headed creatively by C. Rishi and supported by an able marketing team, Madras Lights is here to provide international quality theatre shows with technical guidance from theatre personnel in New York.

We will be chiefly performing adapted versions of feel good American and English plays and movies. The rights will be accordingly procured.
Introduced in films by Aascar Ravichandran in Anandha Thandavam and the star of the most popular tv show today, SunTV's Deala? No Deala?,

Rishi has his roots in theatre. In 2005, at the age of 19, he was the youngest theatre director in South India having done productions of 'The Sunshine Boys'and 'Sleuth'. He has also performed with The Madras Players in The Hindu's Metro Plus Theatre Festival.

Rishi's aim is to establish Madras Lights as the no.1 commercial theatre group in south India over the next few years.

He is arguably the one and only star that does both English and Tamil theatre.
